  --debug-scanner
This is an experts-only debugging option that can help you to determine the performance of the scanner on a given computer. It may be useful in determining whether a disk is physically dying, which is why the option has been left in. If this is enabled, then during a scan, SpaceMonger will display a colored square in the upper corner of the screen. The color can be used to determine exactly what SpaceMonger's scanner is doing at any given point:
BlackSpaceMonger is processing the results of a scan.
(in SpaceMonger)
YellowSpaceMonger is waiting for FindFirstFile to return the first file in a directory.
(in Windows: FindFirstFile)
OrangeSpaceMonger is waiting for FindNextFile to return another file in a directory.
(in Windows: FindNextFile)
GreenSpaceMonger is processing file information returned by FindFirstFile/FindNextFile.
(in SpaceMonger)
AquaSpaceMonger is waiting for Windows clean up after a single directory scan.
(in Windows: FindClose)
BlueSpaceMonger is waiting for Windows to return information about a reparse point (mount point or symbolic link).
(in Windows: CreateFile, DeviceIoControl, or CloseHandle)
VioletSpaceMonger is waiting for Windows to describe how a file is compressed or sparse.
(in Windows: GetCompressedFileSize)
In general, you should see a lot of flickering, but mostly orange and green, with an occasional spurt of blue or violet. If you see a lot of yellow and orange with very few other colors, and the scan seems to be a little slow, then you may have a dying disk.

-- Process all successive arguments as paths / actions

   About SpaceMonger actions

If a path or actions are given, SpaceMonger will immediately scan the path or process the actions when the program opens. You may specify only a path or actions but not both. Paths are identified by having / or \ in their name somewhere. A list of valid actions can be found here.

Note that SpaceMonger can recognize Unicode command-line arguments, if your command-line processor supports Unicode.
